Svaro's parting speech

For me, since i think we did pretty good for our final product. Although it was well-recieved in my opinion, i don't think it would have been possible without the help of my other groupmates, Ezyan and Cheryl.

It has been a great pleasure working with them. Compared to them, it feels as though i had not contributed much to the project and thus, i feel that i have to work harder for the next project to surpass the current standard that has been set my them, and the other people involved in the MOIP1 projects.

It wasn't easy, but all in all, my experience in MOIP1 would be an unforgettable
experience that i will remember down the road in my journey through polytechnic life.

It's Over :C

Wow. I gotta say, I'm pleased with the audience's response to our P1 video. Never would I have expected them to laugh that hard. Their thunderous laughter makes the past 2 months pretty worth it, huh.
I think one of the reasons we were able to nail the silent video was that, well, there really isnt much to do other than adding the silent film effects. Jo did an awesome job with the music, it wouldve been entirely different without audio. And the acting. Uh, well we obviously aren't professionals, but I think we did good. Ezy is classic as the director, that was executed to perfection. As for Jo and I,.. hmm. I think we're not too bad at acting retarded [if we're even acting at all..] And of course, awesome job finishing up early, mates.

It's kind of a bittersweet, that P1 is over. I wanna laugh and cry at the same time.

Ezy and Jo, it was fun working with you guys. Especially all the goofing around and impromptu filming we did. [and Jo's britney spears yawning, falling down countless times,..] And for all the shit we went through, togetherrr... Thanks for everything c:

AND Alfie, it was great having you as our lecturer :D We never could have done it without you. THANKS!

Au revoir P1. T.T

So the last day of P1 was two days ago. We had screening on that day whereby we get to view every groups video. And IM SO GLAD THAT THE AUDIENCE ENJOYED OUR VIDEO! The feeling is reallllllly overwhelming whenever the audience starts laughing at it. I Love It That They Love Our Video! Here's a special thanks to my two group members, Cheryl Ong and Johanson Tin, whom without them this P1 video will never be as successful. I had loads of fun working with you guys, making the short film, editing it, acting with you guys. Those many whacky ideas we had and those intentional and mostly the unintentional bloopers all caught on tape. All the funny, crappy, serious, sian moments that we had as a group, a team. I really did enjoy the two months we had together. And Of Course Not To Forget, Our AWESOMELY COOL LECTURER, ALFIE!! Without his guidance and help, I dont think we could ever pull this through. Thank you for everything! And to those people who helped us out throughout our production, Alina, Yoke Ee and the rest of the people. A Big Thank YOU! :)

EDITING

We've been doing hardcore editing these few days. We're done with filming and I don't think that we need to reshoot any scenes. We had already arranged the sequences and chosen the sounds also the effects for our short film. Managed to do masking with some guidance from the internet. Bloopers were added. :)) For you people to laugh about. Hehs. We did our supers and the border for the supertitles. What's left.. Adding of the chosen sounds and effects and also adding the plug-in thingy to get the grainy effect. We are about 85% done. YAY! :D

PS, I Cant Wait For The Final Product!!

Editing WIP

me: dropping frames might be quite time consuming.

alphie: yokee has a program that automatically converts your video to silent with drop frames and everything.

..............yea we are editing our video atm.
and that line was an actual happening when we were editing.
lucky us ^^

Almost-post-production

Thursday:

We tried capturing our footage today in Hereafter, which we can't even get into without a year 2/3 or lecturer's card. Brilliant. It was painfully slow, tapes are such a bother. And we're not even done yet. Problems, delays, blah blah... Don't we love P1
